To establish a group within the region to bring together teachers and parents
  1. Teacher networks

  3. To establish good links between primary- intermediate and secondary
Principals’ Association
Term 4 (following symposium)
Establishment of GATE Group comprising teachers and parents. (one for each centre within region.)

Email all schools and compile a mailing list of teachers involved in GATE (within each region)

Mailing list compiled and in action

Ask schools to nominate parents who may be interested in forming a support network (could be online)

Enlist support from principals’ association re transition information
